Outlook 2007 sends blank message in HTML mode HELP!

I am using Office 2007 and Outlook 2007. When I send a message using HTML setting it sends a blank message to all recipients. When I switch to plain text or rich text it is fine. HTML is the default setting when I reply to someone's email I have to remember to change it to rich or plain text. How can I fix this issue?
