replaced a computer for a user and Outlook 2007 it was sending and receiving email just fine till i put a check in the box to always prompt for a username/password. not it stays in the disconnected state and I get 0x8004011D "The server is not available when I clcik send/receive button. I still get this message when I removed the check from the option prompt for credentials. If I creat a test email message and try to send it I get error 0x80040115 "The connection to Microsoft Exchange server is unavailable. outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.
The user has no problem logging in with OWA, and I checked on the users old computer which is using Outlook 2007 as well and she can send/receive email flawlessly.
Using:
Outlook 2007
Exchange 2003
Win XP SP3
any suggestions are great appreciated
