If I insert a picture into an email, the file seems to display much too small.
My screen resolution is set to 1280 x 1024 at 96 DPI. If I display a picture @ 800 x 600 pixels on my screen using Irfanview, it takes up about 2/3 of the screen, which is correct.
If I take that same picture and insert it into an Outlook email, it only takes up about 1/3 of the screen. If I go into the picture properties in Outlook, it says it's scaled at 100%. I go into the compression settings in outlook and I set the compression to 96 DPI, which makes no difference.
So the question is: Why is a picture displayed in Outlook at 100% scale smaller than the same picture displayed in another program at 100%?
By the way, when other people receive the email, it also displays too small on their screen.
