Outlook 2007 - How to return to original email?

I'm hoping this is just a simple option, but I can't find it.

After opening an email, and sending a response, the original email is closed. Is there a setting that will keep the original open, so that I can decide if I want to keep it or not?

Preferences tab
Email options button
Untick 'Close Original Message on Reply or Forward'
