Outlook 2007 - how do I choose the program to open attachments?

Friend of mine has asked this:

I use Outlook for email, so I had it set up to preview all image files in Photoshop now I turn the pc on today and for no reason that I can see it has reverted to previewing files in Paint or Infranview (a great tool for)

Does anyone know how to reset the image preview in Photoshop????

outlook 2007 Ultimate
Win 7.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try this:

In Control Panel select Default Programs (assuming Windows 7) and click on "Associate a file type or protocol with a program" and see if you can reset something in there.
