Hi all,
This is a strange one.
I have a user who uses a VPN to pick up their email from a remote office. They use standard Microsoft VPN.
When this user opens Outlook 2007 it just freezes up and is unusable. The only option is to force Outlook to close.
If I remove the network connection I can open Outlook ok and open email messages ok.
I have performed a check and repair of the OST, but this made no difference.
I have logged onto the same laptop as another user and everything works fine, so that indicates that the VPN & Network Connection is working fine. It also indicates Outlook is ok.
I have logged onto another laptop as the same user and this work fines also, which indicates all is ok at the Exchange end.
So this problem seems to be specific to this particular user, on this particular laptop.
This used to work fine, until this morning.
Does anyone have any ideas what this might be? Is there some local settings which are local to the user logged onto the laptop which I can check?
Thanks in advance.
