Outlook 2007 Encryption

Hey guys looking for some help with this issue...we download/receive/send emails from our ISP. We use Outlook 2007 and it is configured with a POP3 account.

Is there a way to make sure that when we send emails they are encrypted? (perhaps using a public and private key?)

What would be the best way to make sure that emails that we send/receive are encrypted until they reache their destination?

Obviously a free solution would be great if possible.

Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
