I have Win XP Pro & use Outlook 2007. Some replies, not all, come back in pale yellow. To read them I have to open, hit Reply or Forward & highlight the text to read it!

I have tried all the mail format options and even looked at styles - to no avail.

Please see link.

What color font are you using? Does this happen to all of your replies?

Are you 100% sure that they weren't sent in plain yellow to start with?

Also, have you verified that the replier didn't change them to yellow on their PC before sending back?

Hi there,
JPaules
My font is black (Calibri 11). And no it doesn't happen to all my replies. Typically it happens with specific responders. However, when those responders send me a new text, no problem.

kjgv1611: I use html. When I first looked into this I found under Mail format > personal stationery, a mail font setting that was yellow (I think it was the plain text one) but I changed it and have checked it since.

The yellow used is a pale cream and no one in their right mind would choose this colour! However, I will now ask my colleagues how my mail arrives and what email facilities they use!

no one in their right mind would choose this colour!

You assume too much in that statement. [wink]
You're assuming all your colleagues ARE in their right mind!
