We have been on Outlook 2007 now for about 12 months or so and everything has been normal. However a certain contact who sends emails, usually with attachments, which results in crashing the users Outlook. Only these e-mails from this contact cause this. All other e-mails open fine with no problems.

The event usually references wwlib.dll as the file with the problem.

I have noticed that my previewer does not work in Outlook and we have advised users to turn off the automatic preview of attachments, but the problem still remains.

Any idea's?

Thanks
Kris

How many people have this issue? If its just one or two, are they running any add-ons that might conflict? Does Outlook run in safe mode - (Start - Run - Outlook.exe /safe)
Does it now run without problems? If so go to Tools - Trust Centre and disable all non MS addins and then run Outlook normally to see if issue still exists.

A Google of that file/outlook turns up one or two bits, amongst them is this from MS The file you talk about gets a mention in the table towards the bottom of the page. Are you running SP1 for Office 2k7?

I used to have a handle on life... but it broke. Cpt. Red Bull
