Hi everyone,

I thought I'd run this problem by all of you.

I have Exchange 2007 and BES 4.1.6.22 and it seems that any calendar appointments that are entered in Outlook will not show up on the handheld. It will work the other way though. If I enter an appointment on the handheld it will show up in the Outlook calendar immediately. I can also delete off the handheld and it will immediately delete off the Outlook Calendar. We have about 20 users and it seems to be affecting all of them.

Usually this issue happens the other way in which the handheld doesn't get updated. I've checked the locations of the cdo.dll file in the BES server and the versions are correct (I'm currently using 6.5.7651.61) and both files match. I don't think it's a permission issue either since appointments are being created and delivered by the besadmin account.

If any of you have come across this issue and were able to resolve it please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

- EV

Hi Denny,

Thanks for your reply. In the Application Event Log there are some repeating Event ID: 2000 messages:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: BlackBerry Controller
Event Category: None
Event ID: 20000
Date: 8/26/2009
Time: 12:19:57 PM
User: N/A
Computer: FCSBES
Description:
[CFG] Controller won't generate userdump files. Userdump.exe not found.

In regards to the Blackberry log files which log file info do you need? Since this is a Calendar synchronization issue would I get info from the Exchange COnnector Logs (CEXC) or SYNC logs?

Thanks again!
