We did this by going file new look in other users account - this is in OUtlook 2003 now i cannot remove the users account details from the dropdown box ,,,, even though i have removed this users rights from within active directory

..........

can anybody help me

yep, and that is because you should not have done it that way.
If you want to get rid of it, re-create the profile.

PS: you are not allowed to look into others email, unless they are either aware, or you cover yourself with a written request from the 'boss' to do so. Otherwise, you are violating privacy laws.

Hi

Thanks for the speedy reply I am in a postion where are in possesion of a letter from my boss that i am acting on his instructions and at our site all email users sign a form to say that inbound and outbound email can and will be checked from time to time

With out this letter there is no way i would be on here asking for help as i too see it as a invasion of the persons privacy.

regards
Murray

That is a very good and safe attitude Murray!

As for the 'issue' itself, next time, create a new (temp.) profile to do that.
