Hello, when I do a send/receive and I have 3 messages in my outbox, it sends the 3 fine but then it tries sending a 4th email that doesn't exist. If I send 5 emails it hangs trying to send 6. I have tried thr "repair" option and did a clean install of Oulook 2003, as well as virus scan, adaware, spybot and winsockfix.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

First, select your Outbox. Once your outbox content is displayed, make sure 'show all messages' is selected under View, Current View.

Thanks for the reply. Yes that setting has been checked and does show all (I guess!). It sends the other emails fine, but the last "invisible" email always errors out to a smtp error (ex. 0x04367xxx), although the other emails are sent with no problem. This PC does get a lot of spam though, but again I ran the adaware's, virus scans and it turns up nothing.

Try starting Outlook with the /CleanVies and /ResetFolders switches as mentioned in Q296192
