outlook 2003-xp appointments issue

hi all,

we're running some machines with outlook 2003, some with outlook XP - some users get a problem when they make appointments in calender and invite others.

XP users don't get a problem generally, but when 2003 users send invites, the XP users get a jibberish email, and the appointment is not inserted into their calender.

I was wondering whether anyone was aware of a compatibility issue with these 2 versions of outlook calender and whether there was any fix for this?
