I'm having trouble with one of our users - she's using Outlook 2003 to connect to our Exchange server over a vpn. When she attaches a Word file and sends it to recipients housed in a specific department (and using a Notes mail server), the attachment arrives with the file name pic####.jpg instead of filename.doc. The jpg opens as a gray background with a white line in the middle. I've had her send tests to a Notes user in a different area who has a physically separate email server setup and the attachment comes through fine. We've run a full virus scan on her pc, created a new Outlook profile, reinstalled Outlook and rerun all patches - still get the same results. The headers show the mail going directly from our Exchange server to their Notes server. We have another user located in the same department with the same setup, and they have no problems. We created a profile for the original user on this user's pc, and when she sends from this pc the attachment comes through just fine. It appears to be a problem with the pc, maybe, but what ? Please help - I'm stymied!
