Hi.

I have a strange problem that I did not encounter in the past.

The problem:
-----------
When I drag an attachment from an email (no matter from what folder: Sent Items, Deleted, Inbox, etc.) to a folder on my hard drive (using Explorer, a folder I opened through My Computer or a third party program that manages the filesystem), the file is not copied to that folder.
I tried this many times, untill I noticed that there is a registry key defining "OutlookSecureTempFolder" and the value of that key is "C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK6D\" (user is the username that is logged in the computer). I saw that the file was actually moved to that folder. Note: if you delete that folder, it will randomally change its last 2 characters (replacing the "6D").

I have no problem when I want to drag&drop a file to a new email I have created. This is only happening when I drag from an outlook message to a folder.

When I checked this issue on other computers, I noticed the drag&drop is working just fine and that the file is copied to the desired folder, but also to that securetempfolder defined in the registry.

Attempts to redeem myself from this annoyance:
---------------------------------------------
It was working just fine before on the same computer with the same OS.
I have checked this on other computers and it was working ok.
I tried to repair/install MS Office while I still had it installed - no success.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall it completely after cleaning the registry manually of all Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook occurrences - no success.
I compared the installation of Office between my computer and other computers and thought it might be related to the Office SP2, so that is why I had to uninstall completely (you cannot just simply remove Office SP2 while Office is still installed).

I tried other forums and still haven't been able to find a solution for this.

I hope there is a decent soul out there that will be able to give me further instructions or a known solution for this.
