Hi

I will use name in order to make this easier to understand.

Liz logs onto her own Outlook account, but also has access to Sandras inbox. However, when she opens an email sent to Sandra she cannot reply to it as it returns an email containg..........

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

Kate McClung on 27/2/2008 10:20
You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator.

..............Chris also logs on to his own Outlook account and has access to Sandra inbox, but he CAN reply to emails sent to Sandra.

Both Chris and Liz have the same access rights (full access) to Sandras email account.

What could be the problem?

Help!! Im pulling my hair out on this one!

Thanks

If you haven't already done so, go into Sandra's account as Sandra. Go into Tools - Options - Delegates, and make sure both of the people in question are set as "Editor" for the inbox. If you don't already know this you can set different privileges for the calendar, inbox, taks, etc...

There may be a similar setting for this on the server itself, but I think if I'm not mistaken the local choices set by the user take precedence over the server settings unless they are forced by policy.

Thank you donb01!!

I have to say I have never had this problem before with accounts, but it works now so thank you.

)
