Outlook 2003 - Unread meeting message issue

I have someone that tells me in Outlook 2000 if someone sent them a meeting request, it would show up in there calendar as tentative when they did not read it.
They now have Outlook 2003. When someone sends them a meeting request and it is unread it does not show up as tentative in their calendar.

I have tried to uninstall Outlook 2003 SP1 and install SP2 but still not working.

Anyone see this before? Is this how it works in Outlook 2003 now?
