Hi,

I am using the Auto Complete function in Outlook 2003 and it's great !

And I have got a question regarding to this function ... I have mis-configured my SMTP server setting in my Outlook, and I have got the Undeliverable Message for all my outgoing emails afterwards. Once I resending those emails after correcting my SMTP problem, I found that the recipient's email address was being removed from the Address Cache. Is there anyway keep the cache unless I delete it manually ?

Thanks.
Thomas.

No. That "feature" is by design. If a message bounce, it's assumed the address is incorrect, and it's removed from the nickname file.

I've always cautioned people from relying on that feature for keeping addresses. You should store them in Contacts.
