i have a user using outlook 2003 via a win2k terminal server (along with about 10 other users). Everything worked fine for a long time, then today the user complained "something wasn't right." I noticed that the outlook symbol in the lower right had a red X on it and states outlook is offline. If you hit send/receive button, it will retrieve new email, but you can't read it unless you mark it for download and hit send/receive again. The user hasn't changed any settings. Here's the weird part: no other terminal server users are experiencing problems, and the user that's having problems can use outlook express with no problems at all! I want the user to be able to use Outlook, not outlook express. There are no network/internet connection issues. The mail server is qmail on freebsd and is set up for IMAP. I am scratching my head at this point, has anyone had a similar problem with outlook staying offline all the time?
