Hey all

I'm sure this is simple, i just can't find it..

Outlook 2003 is spellchecking the senders email when i reply I only want it to spell check the portion of my email that i send out.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I lay claim to nothing and everything. My words may be wisdom or disaster. In the end you make a choice. Noone is perfect.

In OL2K its under tools ->options on the spelling tab. There's a checkbox for ignoring original message on reply or forward. I don't have OL2K3 available to me at the office but it should be in the same area where you set your other spelling options.

Cheers.

Yea, that's what i thought, and that option is there and checked .. so i don't get it.

I have seen this when I have my e-mail set to plain text/rich text... Try setting you e-mail options to HTML and see that will fix your problem...

Tools -> Options -> Mail format

Another thought, try turning Word as your mail editor out. Each of our users have personalized signatures and if they have Word as their mail editor it gets sent with every reply. With no word as their mail editor it just gets sent with the original message. It could be that the spell checker works the same way.

Cheers.
