Outlook 2003 slow with Vista

Hi,

just bought a new laptop vaio with pre-installed vista business
We installed on it outlook 2003 and it is unbelievably slow
It freezes all the time and it is impossible to use the toolbar

Any idea how to fix it?

Yes...didnt work Still takes about 2 min to send an email

possibly a long shot but I have seen issues with this before, if you do not use the Microsoft Document Image Writer in your printers delete it, it seem to hang word up (which outlook uses as an emil editor).

Other things to try . . .
Search for and delete the normal.dot word template file
Go into the outlook options (mail format tab) and untick the option to use word as your email editor if it selected.
