I have been loading Outlook 2003 on a few of my clients’ machines and have noticed that email does not flow as quickly as it did in Outlook XP and Outlook 2K. For instance when I would email a colleague it would send immediately in XP/2K and it would send immediately, I was testing with someone in the same room and made sure to note how fast it was delivered. In 2003 the user hits F5 and nothing comes over. BUT if the user has folder View enabled and hits "sent Items" or another folder and the clicks on Inbox the email will be there.
Has anyone else experienced this type of behavior with Outlook 2003? I wonder if this is "by design" or a bug.
Thanks!
Alex
