Outlook 2003 sent mail disappears

Hello,

OL SP2 (11.8010.6568) in XP SP2. No Add-ins in OL.

1/50 e-mails I send does not go into the sent mail folder. I did a quick search on this forum but no dice. MSKB (new interface, not bad but font kinda big) shows nothing specific.

Any ideas or people w/ same experiences?

Ok, do you find that it only happens when you send the mail using a mailto: link off a website?
Also, how big is your pst file (personal folder). Just thinking perhaps it's over it's 2 gig limit.

I believe it happens most when I reply to messages in the inbox. My pst isn't near 2 GB. My outlook.ost is fine as I don't receive any errors and I can save an e-mail.

I know I used to have the MS CRM installed and whenever the add in was installed, every email I try to send stays in the outbox. In fact when I hit send, and I look in the Outbox and the font isn't italicized as it should.

HOwever it's uninstalled and my mail sends fine. Just this once in a while thing..the worst type to troubleshoot.

OK, so the most recent email that didn't get saved in the "sent items" box was a forward with a small attachment.

1. I have many replies with attachments in the sent items box.
2. I have one fw: message (to myself) in the sent items box.

i've checked the "save forwarded messages" in advanced e-mail options. Hopefully this works, as I've tested it and it seems to save FW's fine in my sent items.
