I'm using Outlook 2003 as my mail client for some POP3 accounts. I want to setup a rule that says if an e-mail is from mydomain.com - copy it to a particular folder. I setup the rule quiet easily with the help of this URL:
However, the rule only wants to work if it's from a domain other than my own. If it's from my domain, it doesn't copy the e-mail. We have 2 domains, our primary one (mydomain.com) and another one (partnerdomain.com) which are interchangeable and I've tried sending e-mails to both domains (to the same account) but it has the same result. Likewise, I've tried modifying the rule to say if the message is from partnerdomain.com and sent a message from one of those accounts the same thing happened. The only thing in common is that these two domains use the same server, so is it something to do with how the from address is read by Outlook? Can anybody guide me on this at all?
