Outlook 2003 - retrieving deleted messages

One of our employees' PSt files was too big and they accidently deleted thier entire inbox - including very important documentation. They recieved a message saying to use shift+delete to erase the files so it is not in thier deleted items.

Has anyone ever experienced this - How can I recover the data?
