In outlook 2003 I have a couple of email accounts setup and they have been working perfectly for months and months. Suddenly last week it became apparent that while I was receiving email, everything I sent through outlook was not being actually sent. Outlook is returning no errors at all.

Even stranger still is that if I perform a test of my email account settings, it passes all tests including sending a test email. I never do receive the test email however :(

The webmail for both accounts works fine on both the sending and receiving side, and in fact have the same exact username and login to the respective mail server.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

What antivirus and firewall software are you using?
I have run into Outlook2003 and Norton Internet Security issues with the same issue receive but not sending yet email shows in sent items with no issues. Clear firewall rules sends a few times and then quits. Uninstall Norton Internet Security and mail works fine.
Finally gave up on Norton Internet Security when after 4 removals and reinstalls it told me had installed it to many times.
I would suggest shutting the firewall and anti-virus down and see if test emails work. If so you can then contact the manufacturer of the software and see if you can get a fix.
