I want to create a rule that runs when emails arrive in the inbox, so that all emails sent with a read receipt request are moved to a separate folder. Is this possible? How should it be set up?

Thanks

Apologies if this sounds vague as I did this at work and am now at home and working from memory. First I set up a folder called Tracking, then:

Tools menu
Rules Wizard
Add new Rule
Check message on arrival
Where (only?) my name is in the To box
If the subject header is "Read:" move to Tracking folder.

I may have missed a line or two but hopefully that should be enough.

Thanks for the reply.
I've already tried this and it just doesn't work :-(.
I created the rule although there is no "subject header", just "subject" or "message header" and I've tried both. Sent emails from another account with read receipts and the rule doesn't work, they stay in the inbox. I've been through all other conditions and I can't see one which would work or relates to Read Receipts. All of my other rules work fine.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Back at work now -

My rule is:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
where my name is in the To box
and sent only to me
and with 'Read:' in the subject or body
move it to the Tracking folder

I expect this is what you have tried and for some reason it's failing. I currently only have 6 rules in operation but I remember when I had more, some of them did not work.

Do you have a rule higher up in the list that will affect it?
