I send out emails for my supervisor from my email account and in previous versions of Outlook I was able to use "send on behalf" feature where my the emails would appear as if he was sending the email, not me. In Outlook 2003 the sent email shows "Email was sent on behalf of Mr. Supervisor", and my name is in the "from" heading. Is there anyway I can get the emails to appear as if they were sent from him only. I have full permission access to his mailbox.

Thanks,

You need SEND AS rights, not SEND ON BEHALF

Thanks for setting me straight on this. However, I am encountering another problem setting the permission for the user. I set the "send as" permission and it works for a short time, say 1/2 hour. I go back to AD and find the user permission for the manager disappears or resets back to the original config. I want to say replication problem with other server, but it doesn't matter what server I make the change to, it stil resets.

Thanks again

Does the eventlog display anything happening at the same time as the reversal of permissions?
