Outlook 2003 PST Blocking Override

Happy New Year,

I am a member of the tech support team with limited network admin rights and full admin access on machines here at my firm. Due to the Sar-Barnes Ox hysteria, we have disabled the local pst files for the users. However, there is a work around with is:

In regedit go to HKEy_Local_machine\Software\microsoft\office\11.0\outlook

Change DisablePST value to 1.

I did this and it will allow me to see my current pst's but will not let me add anymore PST's. Besides removing my system from the domain, does anyone know how I could get around this?
