Hi there,
I am building a new terminal server and have set up a user named "profile" to install all my applications with.
Once done, my intention was to copy this profile over the Default User Profile so that any users logging in would have the appropriate settings (ODBC connections, etc...) and all of our applications would work.
This is functioning fine thusfar, except when I launch Outlook as one of these new users, it fails to launch because it tries to launch with the username of "profile" in the default mail profile. I went back in as the profile user and tried keying in %username% for the username and then recopied the profile, but %username% doesn't resolve to the logged on user in Outlook I guess.
Any suggestions on how I can fix this easily? I really don't want to start over. Oh, and yes, my Office installation is customized to do this from the get go (mail server name is in there) and it does pull the username on a normal workstation as expected.
Thanks in advance!
