Outlook 2003 Out of office

Hi,

Have a user on outlook 2003, with sbs 2003 as a mail server.
Out of office with a mail forwarding rule is set-up, but it appears that the assistant doesnt reply with the pre-set not in office message and/or forward the incoming message.

I have double checked the assistant is applied!

Any suggestions are appreciated, cant find any helpful info as yet on web searches

has your network admin set the assistant up on the server?

some companies will not allow forwarding emails to certain other email accounts.
