When an email is recieved and it contains HTML the body is displayed in the preview pane but does not display when opened. When opened the body is blank. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Does this happen all the time? What happens when you view the same message in OWA?
Also, see if this is the case

How to view all e-mail messages in plain text format

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

When I view email in OWA it looks ok. In the preview pane its good. Only when Iopen the email is the body blank.

I tried this and I could see the email with its hhtml code. I would like the html to display properly.

I found this in another thread and it seems to have fixed my problem.

There is a registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security. It contains a key called "OutlookSecureTempFolder ". When I deleted that key, all images began to show.

Just in case someone else has that same problem. Of course you should back up the registry before making changes...

There also was the following note:
"I have had the key recreate itself periodically, although I'm not sure why. You can probably create a regedit file to delete that key and use it as a batch file to dix it again as needed.
