My PC crashed. I can get into it via command line only. I can copy files to an external drive. Is there any way I can migrate outlook 2003 mailboxes, contacts, etc with out using export?
Assuming that you don't use an Exchange Server (in which case your mail will be stored on the server) you'll need to copy your PST file. Just do a dir/s *.pst command to find the file/s. Then switch to that directory and copy the file/s to your external drive.
Then when you rebuild your PC, either point the fresh install of Outlook to the PST file or use Import to pull it in.
