I had a script that automatically sent an email/page to my cell phone that worked fine while I had Outlook 2000 loaded on my PC. Since I upgraded to Outlook 2003 the script no longer can send email. I made sure that the username variable is loaded with the profile name I am using with Outlook 2003. Does anyone have any ideas?

do you get any errors? or does the program just never launch or just never deliver the page?

Is Outlook already launched when you run the script (I believe that is necessary)? There was a patch to Outlook 2000 that would keep a mapisend script from working since Outlook would display a prompt saying a third-party program (or some similar message) was trying to access Outlook. Do you see something like this with 2003? I don't have Outlook 2003 on my home machine, but will try on my work machine when I am in next (I'm on vacation at the moment).

I do have Outlook running at the time I run the script. When I was running Outlook 2000 I would receive the popup security box advising that another application was trying to send email but solved it with a utility that would automatically click the button to allow the email transaction. I do not receive any popup box while running Outlook 2003. I do get a "login failure" error returned by the mapisend command in Procomm and should have noted that fact in my original post.

I solved the issue I was having. I thought the profile name was the name of the mail account viewed from Outlook tools/email accounts. As it turns out, that's not the profile name at all. Once I created a real profile on Outlook 2003 and used the profile name inside my script, it worked once again.
