Outlook 2003 lost saved pasword setting

After being away for a week, this morning when I opened my Outlook it requested I enter pass words for my e-mail accounts. I have 4 pop accounts set up and they were working fine until this morning. I reset the passwords and checked the box to remember the password for each account but each time Outlook checks for new e-mail I have to retype the password again. How could the settings change? How do I reset the passwords so that it will not keep asking me to enter them again and again?

enter your passwords through start/settings/control panel/ mail config. Outlook doesnt always 'remember; passwords when you enter them if prompted when outlook is running.

I tried both suggestion, neither worked. I also deleted the accounts and re-entered them and still have to enter the password each time.

Did you actually deleted the registry key mentioned? Or did you get a permission denied error when you tried?
