We use: Outlook 2003 on XP Sp3
One of our users had set his junk mail to permanently delete junk emails that come it. This is found on the main menu under:
Actions / Junk Mail / Junk E-Mail Options / Permanently deleted suspected junk e-mail insetad of moving it to the June E-Mail Folder.
He said he did not realize this option was selected because he generally has one or two junk emails that he has to delete manually. The reason he called this morning is because the option was working perfectly on some good emails that were improperly sent to his Junk Mail.
Question: has anyone seen this issue where if junk mail is set to permanently delete, it will not do so to all junk emails? If so, is there a reason for this?
Note: We do NOT recommend anyone set their junk mail options to permanently delete for the very reason noted above.
Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this question!!
