Outlook 2003 Exceeded Storage Limit

Where do my sent messages go in Outlook 2003 if I have Exceeded my storage limit in my mailbox? After I send the message, I get an undeliverable message back and my message is gone. I then have to recreate the email before I can resend.

In Outlook 2000, it would kick back an Exceeded Storage Limit message and then my message would go to the Drafts folder and once I cleaned out my mailbox I could resend the message.

If anyone has any suggestions...please help.

Thanks,

Flynbrian

When I have an email that does not get sent, it goes into my Outbox folder. Have you checked there?

[cheers] & all the best.

In the Sent Items folder?

I keep getting Error report on my out going E-mail Express
error # 0x8000ccc7f.
Any help will be appreciated JD

I believe the message is lost to the ether. your mail server rejects it and you don't have the storage capacity for it to go into the sent items.

Easy solution archive some mail, search for large attachments etc. speak to your sys admin about a temporary reprieve.

are you on an exchange server?

quite often an admin will set limits on the size of outlook storage.
