I am getting the following message on a client's re-installed XP PC with Outlook 2003, whilst
attempting to setup Outlook to connect to an exchange server:
"Failed to register a VB Script DLL. Reinstall or run Regsvr32.exe Vbscript.dll to self register.
An error occurred while creating the file 'C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\FORMS\FRMCACHE.DAT'in the form directory."
I have successfully registered the DLL as suggested in the message. I have also made sure that
there are no files in the following folders before each attempt to connect Outlook to the Exchange
Server.
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\FORMS\ and
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\
This is the last of three PC's that have been re-installed and the other two were OK.
Any idea what the problem may be.
Thanks
