outlook 2003 - calendar and appointments

hi everyone,

is there a way to prevent appointments sent to me to not show up in my calendar? i am not automatically accepting any booking. all the appointments that are coming to me show up in my calendar even when i did not accept the appointment.

Unfortunately, no. You have to decline for them to be removed. It's a "feature", MS' way of holding that time slot until you make a decision.
