Outlook 2003 Auto Capitalization

Hello all, using Outlook 2003 on WinXP Pro SP2 as local admin. When typing email, Automatic capitalization of first word of sentence is not working. I've checked the options settings for that. Editor is in plain text, not HTML. I have also run the /cleanprofile start up switch. Any other ideas short of a clean re-install? Thanks in advance!

Tools -> Options -> Mail Format tab and check "Use MSO Word 2003 to edit emil messages"
