We are using Outlook 2003 on a network. When some users have an attachment on their email to send, it appears in an attachment line (similar to that of a subject line) but others have the attachment in the body of the email.

Is there is a setting somewhere that can change the way email attachments are shown on emails?

The format of the message controls this. HTML, Rich Text or Plain Text behave differently in this regard.

Hi mintjulep

Thanks for your posting. I can see now that if we change the format as you have described, it makes the difference.

Many thanks
