Outlook 2002 XP Mail not sending but receiving ok

I have a machine using XP Professional and Office XP Professional. Outlook can receive emails but wont sent. I have two pop accounts set up, the Test Message button from Email Accounts does work, does send and an email is received. Trying to send a composed message just wont, get a return message of System Undeliverable.

I've updated the latest patches for Outlook 2002 from microsoft and still no go, and as per MS support edited the registry which was causing a problem with pop accounts.

Any ideas? Much appreciated

I have the same problem with outlook 2002.

Ultimately, I disabled the SEND immediatley button. So when an email is composed it goes to the OUTBOX, and my automatic send/receive was reduced to every 5 minutes and also upon exiting the program.

I only got the send error from the send button on the composed email.

It's not a proper fix, but it'll stop you from having to close and reopen the program each time it hangs.
