Outlook 2002 Sends Email with Attachments Repeatedly

I am using Outlook 2002 SP3. When I attempt to send an email with an attachment it gets sent repeatedly (sometimes 10 times) until I get a "operation timed out" error for each time Outlook tried to send the message. The message stays in my outbox most of the time, but other times it has shown up once or multiple times at the intended address. I have contacted my ISP three times and they say there is no problem on their end. I have uninstalled my Firewall/Antivirus program and the problem still exists(Trend Micro PC-Cillin Internet Security 2005). I have tried to use the repair errors type reinstallation of Office XP. I have reviewed the email account settings and they are accurate. I have tried increasing the time out setting with no success. I am desperate for a solution to my problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Hi,
One sugegstion is to run a full system virus scan. It sounds like something's gotten in and is taking over when you send an email.
