Hi,
I just upgraded to 2002 from 2000. In Outlook 2000, when I would create a new email message and then click on 'To', my address book opened up. If I then clicked in the small, scroll bar on the right just beneath the UP arrow (NOT the up or down arrows themselves), in 2000 I could drag the bar down and watch the names fly by.
In 2002, this does NOT occur. You only see where you are in the address list AFTER you release the scroll tab. (Clicking on the arrows still works but is very slow)
The MS tech I spoke with told me there was no way to make it work like Outlook 2000.
Is this true? I'd like to use 2002 because of the autocomplete feature lacking in 2000 but I also love the 'scroll on the fly' feature in 2000.
Thanks,
Howie
