Outlook 2002 quit sending and receiving mail after adware problem

I recently cleaned my PC of a nasty hijacker, adware, and virus problem. I'm now using Firefox as a browser and everything is back to normal except one thing.....Outlook 2002 fails to connect to my smtp or pop3 server. I don't know if I blew something out that I shouldn't have or what. Can someone please help or at least point me in the right direction??

well first I don't know if you tried this or not.. but if you go inside your control panel you should see mail.. select this and edit your current configuration, that is if it is still there.. if not then you will just need to set up your mail server over again.. just remember that you have to be logged out of your outlook program first.
