Hi all,

I have one user on a Windows 2003 server / Exchange 2003 domain, using WinXP & Outlook 2002 SP2, who has an odd problem I've not seen before.

When composing a new email, if he hits send, it bounces back to him as the email he sent has no 'sender' information. To make things work he has to enter his own email address in the 'from' box (not normally shown by default), for every email he sends.

Does anyone know what has caused this / how to rectify it?

My thanks in advance!

I would try creating a new profile for the user.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

has this user got/had multiple email addresses, there is a setting in outlook 2000 which allows this not to sure about outlook 2002, i believe to alter this you have to start new email, and in the view pain, i use 2003, but i can get to another machine on the 27th to find out :)
