Outlook 2002 logon failure with Win XP

I have had Outlook 2002 installed on WIn XP with no problem connecting to an exchange server. Last week I had to to a repair install form Win XP cd and ever since I get a logon faulre from Outlook. I have tried uninstalling Office, however that doesn't work. Any suggestions?
