Outlook 2002 Credentials (Exchange 2000)

I'm not sure whether to post this in Exchange or Outlook forums.

Here is my problem. I am using Exchange Server 2000 with Outlook 2002 SP2. I had a user change his domain password this morning. After changing the domain password Outlook prompted him for his logon information when first opened. After Outlook was up and running everything was fine. He closed Outlook and came back into it and wasn't prompted again. Later he logged off and back on the computer. After logging back in and running outlook he was prompted for his credentials again. Outlook also seemed to lock his account out this time.

Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

check replication between DC's, maybe there's something wrong there.
