Outlook 2002 compatability with Outlook 2000

Some users in my company are using Outlook 2002 while most are using Outlook 2000. We are seeing problems where someone using Outlook 2002 will send an e-mail to a Outlook 2000 recepient either directly or as a cc, and the Outlook 2000 user will only receive part of the e-mail message. This is also evident when attaching files as they sometime do not get delivered to the Out2000 user.

I'm not sure if this is a Outlook2002/2000 compatability issue or if it has anything to do with our Exchange 5.5 server. Has anyone seen or heard of this issue?
