Outlook 2002 creates a problem when excessive emails are stored in the Inbox, Sent box, and Drafts creating a condition in which emails in the Outbox can not be deleted. The email in the Outbox can not be sent, and it can't be deleted unless you use the following procedure.
If you press the "Shift" key and hold it while you "left click" on a block of emails, you will be able to delete emails. You may need to go back to emails stored on your computer and delete stored emails to free up space for others. Once you delete emails, you can close Outlook 2002 and restart it. Now you can send and receive emails.
It is important to remember that too many emails stored in Outlook 2002 will cause this problem again.
